Gunnar Triggs was 3-for-3 with a double and two stolen bases, while Julian Golden added two hits and two RBIs and Nissa Burnett also had a hit and two RBIs to power Booska’s Flooring to a 16-2 win over the Montague Elks in a Newt Guilbault Community Baseball League contest on Wednesday in Turners Falls.

Tyler Varilly and Sammy Choleva (two RBIs) each had a hit for the Elks, and Choleva struck out six on the mound.

St Stan’s 5, Pipione’s 2 — Malcolm Tyler and Emmanuel Quezada combined for 16 strikeouts on the mound, while Luke Carlo and Quezada each had a hit and two RBIs for St. Stan’s.

Pipione’s Liam Kerivan (single, two RBIs) and Ava Barber (single) powere their side, while Kerivan and Spencer Towne struck out a combined 12 batters on the bump.

New Fortune 13, Liberty Tax 8 — Darick Chaisson had a base hit and scored three runs, Jason Philstetler scored two runs while Sam Edson and Bryce Urkiel each had hits for New Fortune.

Solomon Evans and Elijah Lawler each had two hits for Liberty Tax.

Gruber & Tripp 9, Fitzgerald Real Estate 4 — Cooper Deane had four hits, including a home run, while Patrick Whittier and Jasper Bielunis each added a hit and played well defensively for Gruber & Tripp.

Camelot Carpet Cleaners 6, Franklin First Federal Credit Union 4 — Elise LaPrade and Grayson Baker each cracked three hits while Lilymelissa Beckwith hit safely in Camelot’s Juniors victory on Tuesday. 

Leyla Bailey pitched and had three hits at the plate while Lyla Burek knocked a pair of hits for Franklin First. 

Triton Automotive 14, Precision Driving School 3 — Lenyx White had a double and a single, Clara Behan and Lindsey Hawkins both hit safely while Lexi Hawkins and Lindsey Hawkins combined for 12 strikeouts in Triton’s Ponytail triumph Tuesday. 

Amy VanDoren doubled, Ainsley Martin singled while Kalina Pease and Martin combined for 11 strikeouts for Precision. 

Colleges

Greenfield alum Owen Phelps picked up his second win on the mound this season with Castleton on Tuesday against Keene. 

Phelps tossed five innings, struck out two and didn’t allow an earned run as the Spartans pulled out a 5-0 victory in Castleton.
