Bulletin Board: Country Club of Greenfield tournament season gets underway

The Country Club of Greenfield held its Spring ABCD tournament on Sunday, with Robert Haigh, Valerie Esquer, John Stacy, Brian Luippold and Frank McDonald taking first with a gross score of 130. 

David Kennedy, Mike Plager, Steven Patenaude, TC Emerson and Kathy Nicoll took second (131) while Michael Duclos, Jason Yuryan, Tom Smith, Nancy Donoghue and Terry Sinclair took third (133) and Terry Boyce, Vincent Melendez, Elaine Goodhind, Dave Collette and Doug Finck placed fifth (135). 

In the KMP Shootout at CCG on Sunday Mike Archer and Roy Emerson shot the low net of 62 while Archer and Dave Kennedy carded the low gross of 65.

Camelot Carpet Cleaners 10, Pipione's Sport Shop 6 – Madison Bernard and Evelyn Abercrombie had fantastic nights at the plate for Camelot while Pipione's Penelope Gioules doubled and Kacie Cadran had three hits on Monday in Junior Division action.

Deerfield Academy scores

Here are the Deerfield Academy results from Saturday: golf won the Andover Invitational with a score of 299, boys lacrosse beat Phillips Andover (24-3), girls lacrosse knocked off Westminster (16-6), baseball split with Phillips Exeter in a doubleheader (3-2, 2-0), softball fell to Williston (11-0) and girls tennis lost to Hotchkiss (6-3).

St. Stans 10, Montague Elks Club 0 — Malcolm Tyler and Emmanuel Quezada combined to allow two hits, Carter Flagg hit two doubles and knocked in three runs, Tyler had two doubles and two RBIs and Logan Fellows had a double and two RBIs in St. Stan’s Majors victory Saturday. 

Tyler Varilly knocked two hits while Grady Malone struck out eight for Elks Club.

Bobby C’s 16, Lundgren Honda 2 — Mason Deome struck out five, Kyrie Petrizzi-Richmond stole six bases while Parker Stacy knocked a pair of hits in Bobby C’s victory on Saturday.

Damien Shields hit safely, Kent Warner had a hit and an RBI while Ben Trombley knocked two hits for Lundgren. 

Ruggeri Real Estate 12, Rotary Club 7 — Toby Campbell had a hit and struck out six, Anthony Ruggeri tallied a hit and five strikeouts while Brody Suhl hit safely in Ruggeri’s triumph on Saturday. 

Blake Miner tallied two hits, one a homer, and three RBIs, Brock Puchalski struck out four and Dezmond Jurkowski added three strikeouts for Rotary Club. 

Aubuchon Hardware 10, Liberty Tax 9 — Willie Webb-Halpern knocked two hits, Zayden Leclaire-Babits scored a run while Spencer Wyngowski played well in the outfield in Aubuchon’s win on Saturday. 

Solomon O’Neil Evans had a strikeouts while Harlon Hickey and Andrew Quintana played well in the field for Liberty Tax. 

New Fortune 7, Pioneer Valley Tire 6 — Collin Winslow knocked in Darick Chaisson and Sean Winslow with a triple that lifted New Fortune to a AAA win on Saturday. 

Collin Winslow had three hits, Sean Winslow tallied three hits while Rylan McIver and Cam Santerre scored runs in the victory. Brantley Godfrey knocked two doubles, Owen Castine and Gabe Tidlund each hit safely while Kaydin Snow-Rose struck out 10 for Pioneer Valley Tire. 

Smitty's Pub  10, Gilmore and Farrell 7 — Asa Bouchard had three hits including a double, Preston Charboneau hit a home run, singled and drove in three runs while Carter Malouin and Sam Lawler each had two hits in Smitty’s Majors victory Friday. 

Casey Burke hit two home runs, Teddy McCarthy homered and Bryce Zraunig doubled for Gilmore and Farrell.
